Four Dials
Privacy Policy
For the Four Dials app (called Barometer until October 2026) and its pages on this site. Effective October 28, 2026.
In short: Four Dials collects nothing and never goes online. What you log stays on your phone unless you share it.
What we collect
Nothing. No account, ads, analytics or crash reports. The app has no code that goes online, and on Android it has no internet permission. If you email us, we use your message only to reply.
Where your data lives
On your phone, in the app’s own storage, and in any backup files you make. Android’s cloud backup is off for the app. On an iPhone, iCloud Backup, if it is on, copies the app’s data into your iCloud account like every other app’s; Apple holds that copy, not us, and you can leave Four Dials out in the iPhone’s iCloud Backup settings.
What leaves your phone
Only what you share yourself: a PDF, a spreadsheet or a backup file, sent where you choose.
Deleting it
Erase everything in Customize removes your record. Deleting the app removes its data; on an iPhone that includes the backups in its Files folder, and on Android backup files in your own folders stay until you delete them.
Getting the app
Four Dials is free. Google Play and Apple deliver it under their own privacy policies (Google, Apple). They may show us install counts and anonymous crash counts from their own systems, never your name or anything you logged.
