Barometer
Privacy Policy
For the Barometer app for Android and its pages on this site. Effective 5 October 2026.
In short: Barometer collects nothing and cannot go online. What you log stays on your phone unless you share it.
What we collect
Nothing. No account, no ads, no analytics, no crash reports. The app asks Android for no permissions, not even the internet. If you email us, we use your message only to reply.
What stays on your phone
Everything you log, including the optional Relationship Mode part about a partner, kept in the app’s private space. Backup copies go to Documents/Barometer and any folder you pick. Android’s cloud backup is off for this app. The passcode and the Relationship Mode code stay on your phone; we cannot see or reset them.
What leaves it
Only what you share yourself: a report PDF or a backup file, sent where you choose.
Deleting it
Erase everything in Customize removes your record, then asks about your backup copies. Uninstalling removes the app’s data; backup files stay until you delete them.
Buying the app
Google Play handles the purchase under its own privacy policy. Google shows us an order number, phone model and country, never your card details.
Health
Barometer is a log, not a medical device. In a crisis, call or text 988 in the United States, or find a line at findahelpline.com.
